The UPSC Assistant Commandant Recruitment 2023 issued by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) a new advertisement for the recruitment of 322 Assistant Commandants (AC) in the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), which includes the BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and others. Academic qualification

A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from a university established by an Act of the Central or State Legislatures in India, or from another educational institution established by an Act of Parliament and declared to be deemed as a university under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit

For the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2023, you have to be at least 20 years old and no more than 25 years old. He or she must not have been born before August 2, 1998, or after August 1, 2003.

Written exam

• The format of the tests that will be given offline is as follows:
• General intelligence and skill: 250 points
• It will happen between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
• The questions on this test will be objective (multiple-choice), and they will be written in both English and Hindi.
• Essay (English or Hindi) -> 80 marks
• Exact Writing, Comprehension Components, and other speech and language skills will only be tested in English -> 120 marks
• It will take place from 2:00 to 5:00.

Physical Test

Pregnancy at the time of the PET will be a disqualifier, and applicants who are pregnant will be turned away

Interview

There will be 150 points for the interview/personality test. Candidates who are possibly shortlisted for the Interview/Personality Test will be given a Detailed Application Form (DAF) on which they will have to list their preferred Forces, among other things.

Merit List

The merit list will be compiled based on candidates’ Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test scores.
