Academic Qualification
The academic qualification required for RRB ALP recruitment is given below.
- Candidates also must submit a visual acuity (VA)certificate which shows that they have good eyesight.
- Candidates applying for the posts of ALP must have passed their matriculation and 12th standard or equivalent studies. They should also have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering from a recognized Institute.
- Candidates applying for the posts of Technicians must have cleared their matriculation and 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics. They should also have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering from a recognized Institute.
- All candidates must have also completed the Act Apprenticeship course in the trade applied for the post.
Age Limit
As per Railway Board’s letter No. E(NG)I-2000/PM2/12 dated, the upper age limit for General candidates is 42 years, for OBC candidates is 45 years and for SC/ST candidates is 47 years Will be 21.08.2001 (RBE No. 165/2001). Age will be calculated based on 01.07.2023.

- Register yourself for the exam at the regional website of the RRB.
- For registration, open the page and fill in all important details, like, your name, your parent’s name, etc.
- You will receive an OTP as soon as you press submit. Process it, please.
- After validating OTP, process mail generated for login credentials.
- Log in with the credentials and provide the details as asked by the application.
- Make the payment of the required amount. Failing to pay the amount will lead to the rejection of your application.
