Academic Qualifications
- Have a BDS or a comparable degree from a medical school or college that the Dental Council of India (DCI) recognizes.
- If a candidate has a degree from a foreign university, they must have the required Conversion Certificates that are accepted by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
Age Limit
- A candidate must have reached the age of 21 (twenty-one) years and cannot be older than 38 (thirty-eight) years on the first day of January 2023. This means that he or she must have been born between the 2nd of January 1985 and the 1st of January 2002 to be eligible.
- There will be a lowering of the age requirement by the laws of the government.
